From our President & Owner

My father and grandmother built Kerrisdale Cameras by recognizing the importance of our employees to the success of the family business. I’m committed to continuing this tradition of treating our employees fairly and with respect, knowing that they will then carry this forward to provide the best customer service. 

Consequently, about 40% of our employees have been with us over 10 years, and many over 20 years. I’ve helped select and hire all members of our team for over 30 years and will continue to personally be involved with each hiring and providing ongoing HR services to each employee and our stores.

Our pay structure ensures equity and fairness among all employees while recognizing individual performance through our pay-for-performance programs. We offer competitive wages and benefits including staff discounts plus, group insurance and sick benefit plans for full-time employees.

We provide a health and safety program, company dinners and incentive programs. Our promote-from-within policy encourages our employees to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
